annie from marine lines

Today we met this sweet lady near Dadar station. She spoke great English (which is rare for females!) and seemed to understand right away that we actually live in Mumbai and aren't travellers, a welcome change! She is making garlands for people to buy and take to temple or church. We loved how she made the garlands using her feet. Posted by Picasa

When I saw your picture near a station, I thought immediatly to you and your friends if your were or not in these trains. And hope you were not there. And read also here, you and your friends are safe. It is a good thing for you to be safe. But I'm sorry that so many people died.

Warm thoughts from Paris too. We all know that terrorism has a ugly face whatever the cause is.

We think of you even if we are miles away.
