4th of July flooding
The flooding continues. I ventured out to try to get some photos, but unfortunately after a few my lens clouded up and it wasn't easy to keep dry! Most things are closed today, but a few people are trying to continue on with life as usual. If you want to check the current situation you can check CNN-IBN or TimesNOW. Here's a quick collage look at what we saw today in our neighborhood.

wow, that's really a huge downpour, did you get ur camera wet?
yeah, but its fine. i had it wrapped in a plastic bag, but i have a lens that retracts, so i had to leave it out -- so the lens kept getting covered in rain drops and since i was soaked it was hard to dry it for each photo!! i'll have to devise another way to take photos in the rain!
Well, you may have had trouble taking this photo but it was really worth it. I love it.
