Dog Friendly
Being an animal lover is often difficult in Mumbai as there are many strays and often people do not treat them well. But times are changing... A local "dog run" has been set up near my house with these signs telling people the virtues of dogs. Now lets hope these good feelings extend to not just people's pets, but also the animals living on the roads.

I don't know of a dog run near my home, but I've been told they are great fun. Thanks for the photo -- and I share your wish that people's hearts are softened toward all animals, stray or not.
I live in the US and have a lovely black lab. I always thing of her when I see dogs on the streets of Mumbai. Mumbai beaches are very dog friendly. You can often play with really large breeds there when they come there for an evening walk. Mumbai dogs are really street smart. But my heart breaks when I see a puppy that is not going to make it.
