D.A.R.E.

 
DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) was a program started in the US in 1983 when I was a kid and here in Mumbai, on the other side of the World, over 20 years later is a kid wearing the american branded t-shirt and sniffing glue at the railway station. I don't think this is what the american promoters had in mind as an advert. Posted by Picasa

yes, these harsh realities do exist amid the growing cities, mumbai is no exception...fortunately more and more people are getting aware of the 'disease' and are helpign the cause.. thanks for putting it on the blog helping the awareness!!

well, DARE did not have very good outcomes as a prevention program in the US and obviously wearing the TSHIRT isn't helping in India either!
