In the 80's and 90's, Mondegar used to be one of the places for liberal students with interest in art and literature or radical ideas about social change to get together and engage in stimulating discussions and philosophical debates over cigarettes and beer. Cafe Samovar next to the Jehangir Art Gallery was another such place. Now of course, the youth in India are more globalized, less radical and have a plethora of cool and hip places to go to.
Classic Shot. Love that place and now there is this flood of memories.
