The french one that is, but our popular mumbai beach, chowpatty is a great way to beat the heat. Funny to me, chowpatty means beach in hindi (is this correct or is this me learning mumbai speak again?) so when you say you are going to 'chowpatty beach', you are actually saying I am gong to 'beach beach'!

I have no idea what chowpatty means but it sort of sounded like "cow patty" and you probably know what that is.
They actually have cow patty throwing contests here. Dried cow patty.
A nice photograph that looks so inviting and not much what the name sounds like.
This is the second episode of the Robin feeding the babies. Mom had her head down a throat today.
yep, I know about cow pattys, I grew up in the south, oklahoma, tennessee and alabama!
oh, in india they often use cow pattys for fuel, you will see it the round disc of a patty drying in the sun in a neatly made tower of patties. Maybe easier to find than wood in some places in india.
I like this shot Stacie, it could be any nice beach in the world.
lovely... an enticing chowpatty!!
No, Chowpati is a proper noun. It does *not* mean beach.
