Altered Economist!

Today I had some time to go through last week's Economist and noticed that the map of India referenced in one article had this blue stamp over it. It is obviously not printed by the Economist, which means that the Indian Govt went through each and every one of these before they were mailed.. Crazy. No wonder it was several days late and the package was already opened! (Of course those things dont surprise me as the mail isn't to efficient here!)

You haven't noticed it before? The GOI has been using that stamp for many decades now. I pity the poor guys who have to sit and stamp the magazine.

dont worry, GOI does not have to put these stamps. It is the distributors who have to do this job.
