newspaper library

I think this is a street library with all types of newspapers available for locals to sit and check out. I've seen places like this before, but this one actually was full of newspapers. Posted by Picasa

The sign reads -
Bharat Ratna {India's highest honour} Dr.Babasaheb Amebdkar Free {Something} (I think it means 'Reading Area'.)

Have you learnt to read/write the local language? Plan on doing so?

i used to "know" how to read, as in I knew what all the letters were, but my vocabulary was so small that I wasn't able to figure out what it said even if I knew the letters! Now i've given up on that and am just focusing on learning how to speak!

It’s in Marathi. The regional language of Maharashtra.
