bollywood dreamin'
This is a bar in a slum neighborhood close to my house that I cut through everytime I go North. I haven't been in this place, but it is very unlikely that any Bollywood star has ever set foot in here!

well its hard to not see any here. honestly i'm not a big fan. now days they are trying to make more "hollywood" type films with less dancing/singing, but i think they are horrible! so far most directors here haven't been too original - they tend to outright copy western films (nine months, usual suspects, fight club, etc). there are a few bollywood crossover(indian/english) films i like - bride and prejudice, monsoon wedding, bend it like beckham.
the movies are fantastical to watch (the older style), but the plots are lacking quite a bit! i'm on the search for more independent/arty b-wood films - i know they must be here somewhere!
