Ramazan - Sweets!

Since I am veg, my favorite part of Ramazan are the sweets. We sampled all sorts.. but not this one as it sort of appears to have meat chunks in it!

This is seriously a big pot of meat! I think the bowl closest was raw.. but perhaps it was cooked and just really slimy! For meat lovers this is a great time of year.. for those of us veg eaters.. not so yummy!

Shopping season begins!

The season of holidays are upon India with Ramazan going on now and Navratri coming up next with Diwali finishing the season out. It means lots of days off for the locals, lots of eating and of course lots of shopping! This is the season that many families wait for to specifically purchase new clothes, household goods, etc. And there are sales galore!
